P&G EEP Projects

What is an EEP?
EEP stands for Experiential Explorations Program, and is something students who do not receive a co-op can do to get the credit they need. They're typically self-study projects, but this year students had the opportunity to do short group projects for companies, one of them being P&G.
Two projects, two goals
Project 1
Design packaging for a new line of toothpaste to make it stand out in the market.
Project 2
Present a design solution for a new and unique product that is both practical and effective.
What I learned
Project 1
With this project, I learned how to make very quick changes to my designs based on client feedback, and how to better adapt my work to fit the client's needs. I also learned that people often want to see how a product might be marketed, or how it will look on the shelf.
Project 2
With this project, I learned that sometimes projects aren't about finding a final solution, but about gaining more ideas to get closer to one. I also learned more about creating new, creative mechanisms suited to a product, and how important testing those mechanisms is when developing solutions like this.
